Very well located in relation to the centre of the city, bordered on the east by a shopping street and on the south by a planted mall, the old hospital centre is today a completely closed block. The main objective of our work is to give back this district to the town, while respecting the existing heritage.
As a result, the project is clearly, rigorously and legibly implemented to respond to a complex program of 7 distinct activities. A hypermarket at the heart of the block takes the form of a market hall composed of a series of successive bays, each one with a regular peaked roof.
Boutiques and shops are located on the ground floor along Gambetta Street. Covered parking, apartments, a retirement home, a hotel and green spaces complete the package.
A large covered mall, running from north to south of the plot, allows both access to the hyper and the back of the shops. It is therefore a real new interior street, connecting the Foch Boulevard in the south to the Chambre de l’Edit Street, in the north.
