The Completion Centre is the nerve centre of the A330 site. This building can simultaneously house three aircrafts. It is composed of:
- A hall called «Working Party» where various maintenance operations and fine-tuning procedures are performed. This is why the hall has a handling device and is linked to an annex housing storage area, workshops and technical premises.
- Two paired halls called «Cabin Firnishing» where the cabin and cockpit installation are completed thus achieving the entire interior finish of the plane. Two galleries connect the Cabin Firnishing halls with a logistics building which has all the components for the cabin installation of the aircrafts.
This process is quite similar to what takes place in the Cabin Firnishing halls in Toulouse, for aircrafts of similar size.
The program also provides for an extension of an additional Cabin Firnishing hence allowing an increase in production rate.
Sightseeing tours will have a specific circuit as they are highly developed in China and tens of thousands of people are expected each year at the site.
